Council has now produced a snapshot of some of the current statistics and information relevant to ageing in the Winton Shire.
The document is intended to inform other tiers of government, funding agencies and other stakeholders, and is to be used as a discussion starter and information piece to attract Consultant interest in developing a contemporary Aged Care Strategy & Action Plan for the Shire. Noting Council will be calling for expressions of interest from capable Consultants in the New Year to work with Council to undertake this critical project in partnership with the community.
The ‘Aged Care Discussion Paper’ itself is now available below for any interested parties / stakeholders to access. The document is available for stakeholders and community to use currently as they wish, for funding / grant applications etc.
