Dear Friends
A.B. Paterson College is anticipating the completion of our group accommodation facilities in Elderslie Street by the end of 2021, ready for use in 2022.
This $3M project will cater for up to 150 guests, and will contain both individual and group accommodation facilities, as well as dining and catering facilities. With a future proposed classroom and business hub space, this centre will enhance the wonderful offerings already present in the town and provide an opening for Winton businesses to a new niche market.
With this in mind, I am delighted to offer the opportunity for local businesses who may benefit from our development, to be a ‘business partner’ in our project. Specifically, I am seeking to partner with those Winton business and community groups who would like to access, support and engage with the unique corporate and school groups intending to use our facility.
While we are open-minded and keen to support all businesses, I am specifically interested in connecting with tourism operators and businesses, fresh food suppliers, logistics companies, and businesses interested in catering for the many guests who will use our facility. Conservative figures suggest that the Winton community could benefit from this business venture to the tune of $1.6M per year at full operation.
If you are interested in partnering with our College, and in so doing having your brand and offerings promoted to the future clients of our accommodation centre, ‘Barty’s Place’, please contact me by emailing me on ceo@abpat.qld.edu.au.
It is my greatest hope that our project will bring a far greater awareness of the Outback, and more specifically Winton, to a new generation of young people who will grow with a true sense of Australia in their hearts and come back year after year with their own families.
I welcome your friendship and hope that we can indeed form stronger business partnerships that will support each other for many years to come.
