Winton Shire Council (WSC) is now calling for expressions of interest from rural Landholders willing to participate in the Weed Management Program.
The WSC is allocating $150,000.00 of the recently awarded Grant (Combating Pests & Weeds) towards the management of weeds across the Winton Shire Area.
The Program will involve the following actions:
• The completion and submission of this Expression of Interest form by Landholders to the WSC,
• WSC shall oversee the purchasing through local suppliers, of the following: Starane Advanced/ Uptake Spraying Oil/ Tebuthiuron Granulated Pellets and a Spray Unit,
• Landholders will be notified of the quantity of herbicide they are eligible for by 30th November 2019,
• WSC shall oversee the distribution of herbicides and the hiring of the spray unit to landholders,
• Landholders will have until the 30th June 2020 to complete all spraying activities.
