Dentist
Winton currently does not have a permanent dentist however, we do have regular visits from a dentist and appointments are generally made through the Winton Hospital (see below for details on Winton Hospital).
Diamantina Gardens
Diamantina Gardens is an aged person's home run by the Winton Shire Council. These units are fully equipped with all the essentials for comfortable living. The caretaker stays in a close-by unit and is there for any emergency assistance. Diamantina Gardens is located on the western end of Bloomfield Street and is close to the hospital and doctor surgery for convenience and peace of mind. Winton Ambulance Service
Our ambulance service is located on the corner of Werna and Cork Street and consists of one permanent ambulance officer and relieving ambulance officers. There is a group of volunteer drivers that assist the paramedics in the event of an emergency call-out. To contact the Winton Ambulance call (07) 4657 1100.
Winton Hospital
Winton has a range of health services to offer to the community. The Winton Hospital has both public and private facilities and offers regular visits from specialist doctors. They also provide meals on wheels, dietician, podiatrist, speech therapist, occupational health services and enjoy regular visits from the optometrist. Winton Medical Centre
The Winton Medical Centre is a newer building located on the corner on Bloomfield and Oondooroo Street. The practice has a waiting room as well as baby changing areas and breastfeeding facilities. To contact the centre please call (07) 4657 1337.
